Emirgan Tulip Museum: Unveiling Turkey's Floral Heritage
Established in 2015 with the aim of popularizing and promoting the tulip throughout Turkey, the world's largest Tulip Museum and Research Center proudly hosts significant artworks adorned with tulip motifs.
Nestled within the Emirgan Grove, the Tulip Museum was founded by the Istanbul Tulip Foundation (ITF) with the objective of preserving the cultural legacy of tulips for future generations. Spanning an area of 1,500 square meters and housing two exhibition halls, the museum showcases an array of items related to tulips, including plows used for tulip planting, tulip sifting sieves, tulip motifs on handcrafted illuminations, tulip brooches, specially dried tulip flowers, imperial kaftans embellished with tulip motifs, weaponry, traditional Turkish needlework, handkerchiefs, and hundreds of other items adorned with tulip motifs.
Beyond being a venue for the museum and tulip gardens, the facility serves as a vibrant hub for culture and arts. It invites visitors to indulge in leisurely moments against the backdrop of the Bosphorus, explore the verdant expanses of the Emirgan Grove, and acquire unique designer products.
